Sheik’s journey began as a fighter and helicopter pilot in the Indian Air Force, where he led high-stakes missions and became the youngest Commanding Officer of a mobile missiles unit. Transitioning to the corporate world, he brought his strategic and operational expertise to Amazon and Tesla, managing large, robotics-enabled teams and transforming service and quality operations across North America. He also navigated union environments with the City and County of San Francisco, successfully managing complex infrastructure, fleet, and inventory projects. Most recently, Sheik led vehicle delivery and service operations at Tesla. He led initial vehicle quality initiatives with manufacturing, design, and field. He also worked as service lead for Tesla's Optimus humanoid robot project. His unique blend of military precision, innovation in driving efficiencies in large scale human-machine interaction environments, and his business acumen drives impactful solutions in electric mobility, and autonomous systems.

Arun’s journey began in Tiruchirappalli, India, where his fascination with audio technology led him to pursue a degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering. Early in his career, he honed his expertise at Intel and Motorola, tackling challenges in silicon software and embedded systems. At Sun/Oracle, he drove innovations in compute, storage, and networking for cloud infrastructure, creating valuable intellectual property in reliability, availability, and serviceability. Building on his technical foundation, Arun transitioned into strategy consulting, where he led initiatives to scale enterprise transformation and improve efficiency for multi-billion-dollar organizations, showcasing his ability to craft strategies and deliver measurable results. Returning to product development at Cruise, he led the development and public road launch of fully autonomous vehicles, including the Cruise Origin, achieving key milestones across software, manufacturing, validation, user experience, and operations. Arun is committed to shaping the future of robotics and autonomy, creating breakthroughs that push industries forward and open doors to new growth opportunities.
